Videogame / television cover band -- and real sexy American boys -- Armcannon announced back in November the impending release of their third full-length album. If you attended MAGFest this past weekend, you had a chance to purchase the new CD before anyone else. Now that the festivities are behind us, you can score the fresh hotness straight from the Bandcamp oven. Armcannon 3: LegVacuum 2 piles on the toppings and serves itself on a toasted sesame seed bun. We've got a "Corridors of Time" cover from Chrono Trigger, a sweet F-Zero medley, and some Spinal / Eyedol shipping on a Killer Instinct track. A great wall was torn down in "Star Wrek," a blend of Star Trek and Star Wars tunes that finally unites both parties in love and harmony. And of course... THUNDERCATS! HOOOOOO! I'm so happy I finally got to see these guys live. As I mentioned in my impressions of Nerdapalooza 2012, I missed out Armcannon's sets on three separate occasions. It was as though the Fates refused to let me see them. Now the curse has been lifted and the morning sun has vanquished the horrible night.
