The next entry, Worms Ultimate Mayhem, looks like, well, it looks like a Worms 3D game. There are weapons, and worms, and witty responses from the those who won't be alive for but a moment. It comes out tomorrow on Steam and Xbox Live for $14.99 or 1200 microsoft points and looks like an all-around wormier Worms game.

Worms games go somewhere. It mostly goes downhill.
Worms games are a low-effort presumably-moderately-high-reward franchise.
Although Worms: A Space Oddity is probably the lowest point they've reached, Team-17 isn't exactly exerting itself to try to make their games good, because they know name recognition is enough to turn a profit. (The alternative is that Team-17 is exerting itself, and is just bad at making games.)
