Are gryphons the new shovels? Gryphon Knight aims to find out

Mustache baby men are back, with a Gryfengence

Gryphon Knight Epic is in the last day of its Kickstarter, and like so many neat games on Kickstarter, I hadn't heard of it until it was almost too late. Created by a small team of proven developers, Gryphon Knight Epic tasks players to take to role of Sir Oliver as he rides his trusty griffon Aquila to victory, battling gorilla riding elves, armored half scorpion ladies, and ninja riding a bee-moth. I love the way the promotional art goes for semi-realism while the in-game graphics are firmly rooted in the "traditional videogame" Rogue Legacy-esque style.

Up and Coming Lets Player and Game Industry Wit Jennifer Knight says that Gryphon Knight Epic is "Griffon Von Schitnsxfg looks like great fun with its lovely art style, challenging old-skool shmup gameplay and mustached hero. I'd play it. It's the truth."
