Out of all of the MMOs that are coming out in the near future, ArcheAge is at the top of my watch list. It promises a more sandbox-like style compared to the themepark MMO experience, with more open world activities, open housing, exploration, flight, farming, and politics. In other words, it's something Ultima and old school MMO fans will want to watch out for.
After a lengthy beta session, the game is set to drop on September 16th. There's just one caveat with ArcheAge -- it's free-to-play, so hopefully it does the scheme right. As a side note, the game has been running in Korea and Japan but about a year now, but it's arriving in other territories next month.
