Angry Ninja Birds? Plant vs Zombie? Who are these assholes that make these rip-off games? No, not Zynga. We're talking about iOS here.
No matter, as Apple has pulled these and other one-offs from the App Store, and they are now gone from the US and UK App Stores. It turns out that many of these game clones were developed by one person, Anton Sinelnikov. Develop says that 61 of his 70 iOS releases have been deleted. It's scary that some of these titles managed to top the App Store charts.
Maybe Apple is now taking a stand against the copying of the structure of popular games. Wouldn't that be nice?
