I was just thinking about this last night, having not known about what exactly his prior health problems were.

I kinda had a feeling when he gave up being CEO that he knew his time was soon. Its sad, but not entirely unexpected given how long he'd been fighting it.
I don't like apple or their products, but none of that matters.
He was a human being, and was adored by many, and will continue to be as such. To blast someone or make merry at their passing is disrespectful.

Pancreatic cancer kills so, so quick. It's an ugly death that I've seen first-hand. I hope this came as a relief to Jobs and his family.

Seriously though, we lost a true genius today and whether you like Apple products or not, without Steve technology wouldn't be the way it is today, mp3 players wouldn't be anywhere near as convenient, mobile phones would probably still be all button-based, we wouldn't have all these cool apps and well, there's countless things that probably wouldn't be or would've had to wait for someone else to think it up, so to that I say thanks Steve, and rest in peace!

As for this, wow, I did not see that coming, never really payed attention to the guy and didn't know he was fighting cancer, so this is a bit of a shock. Yeah, I'll leave it at that, don't want to be a hypocrite and say I will miss the man, but meh, it's still death, and that's a bloody painful subject.

Steve Jobs was a one of a kind human being.
They will never be a man like him for generations.
Today we have lost a true artistic genius in the computer and technology industry. There is no telling what direction Apple will go from here without this amazing guy. Steve will be missed by everyone, especially me.
