Between stunts like this, and the ever-increasing trend of retailer-exclusive dlc and bonuses it seems that some companies are intent on destroying the sense of community that online play brings for the sake of quick cash. I mean, what was so terrible about the previous 4 COD's 60 dollar per year dlc plans that they felt obligated to create Elite?
You know, I feel for anybody stupid enough to still buy CoD, period. The blatency with which Activision does not care about its consumers is absurd.
So far, 20 million gamers expressed interest in the new game.
