We've been
keeping our eye on the Squeenix DS action here at Destructoid.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles DS has already made the leap to the gaming grocery list that we all keep in our head (for most of us), but now it looks like there's something else shiny to add to that.
Famitsu has a picture of the
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates Gemini edition DS Lite, as well as the actual game packaging. We knew it was coming, as every Square-Enix game on the DS has received a limited edition DS Lite. Let's go ahead and call it now: there will be a great looking PSP packed in with the upcoming
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII when it hits later this year.
This time around it is a stained glass affair, in keeping with the theme of the game's cover. Head over to your favorite importer, as this package goes on sale in Japan on August 23rd for 21,840 yen (about $175).

Wasn't there a remodeled PSP for Final Fantasy too? I can't find it but I could've sworn there was.

I am considering buying an Onyx in the future...I would be be gung-ho about getting the IAWW DS Lite if it came to American and was good!
I sure couldn't. I'm holding out for an Resident Evil, Legacy of Kain, or Silent Hill version. You know, the ones that they'll never come out with.
