Yesterday there was a fine Castle Crashers sale and now Battlefield 1943 has dropped down in price as well. When these Xbox 360 daily holiday deals first started, I was really skeptical based on the downright silly and often obscure things getting slashed in price.
But like Castle Crashers, Battlefield 1943 is a pretty good buy for seven bucks. Often times multiplayer Xbox LIVE Arcade games drop out of style in the span of a few months, but that isn't the case here. A hell of a lot of people purchased the game, and many are still actively playing it.
Remember, this deal will only be active today, and you must be an Xbox LIVE Gold member to access it. A bit of a pain for sure, but what else is new? The game is multiplayer only, so I suppose it's a reasonable requirement this time.

I haven't played for a few months, but I never experienced any noticable lag, and I would play for hours at a stretch. Very fun game, if you enjoy the Battlefield formula.
... I'm actually a little pissed that they never fixed these issues and I basically stopped playing the game. Luckily they decided to beta BFBC2 on the PS3 to make sure these problems don't recur with the upcoming game.
I just don't know if I should bother with Mass Effect 2 and Bayonetta right around the corner. Plus, MW2 still satisfies my shooter urge.

If you have a PS3... Warhawk is just a better game on the same principles and I'd recommend Warhawk instead.
Sadly, no. Split-screen support is unfortunately dying out.

That sucks about the PS3 version being buggy, glad I picked it up for 360 instead. (Of course, this sale is only for the 360 version, so I suppose none of that matters!)
I don't know. I'd assume it would be credited back to you some time after the purchase.
