Another Forza 3 slipup, this time a strategy guide listing photo

If the recent Microsoft Brazil slip wasn't enough to convince you that we'll see a new Forza game at E3 this year, then maybe this latest leak will.

While internet pre-order listings aren't the most reliable sources, we feel pretty good about the Forza Motorsport 3 Prima game guide listed on Amazon.de. If real, we're sure this guide will help us through the rumored 100 tracks and 400 cars on a two-disc set in Forza 3. The date for this book is listed as September 30, 2009. You can guess what that means for the game.

We're so close to E3 that we can almost taste smell it. We're already preparing our faux excited faces for the reveal of this game there.

So three full Forza titles in between the time it takes Gran Turismo to do one?

Game Fork blogger got the new GTA4 DLC right, now Forza3. Makes you wonder about MGS4 for 360, hmm...

I don't need Forza 3 right now. It'll make me broke when I buy the super deluxe awesome edition ;_;

I hope I will enjoy this game since sim racers usually bore me.

I still dont get what's so special about Gran Turismo. Yes it had its heyday back in the PSX era when they were the cream of the crop but Forza and other contenders have already trumped it.

Yes it has photorealistic graphics which were shown quite well by GT5 Prologue but its gameplay hasnt evolved much at all. I would think that the newer racing games including this new Forza will at least match or trump GT5 in the graphics department.

I dont get why Prologues for the PS2 and PS3 sell even though they're just glorified demos with the actual game a year or two away. Its just the GT name which is running the show.

I don't even like realistic racers as Forza 2 put me off but I still enjoyed it way better than GT5 Prologue with inexistent collision detection and boring gameplay.

So yes, im still looking forward for this

Forza 2 was the first console sim racer that really did a lot of things right. Tracks actually had alot more details that made them closer to the counter parts and the cars handled really nicely.

I still don't want several discs of Forza 3...

Not really considering we new about the extra episode for gta when they annouced the contract last year and forza was leaked( he just paid attention), there's no evidence to support a 360 mgs4 and because kojima said blu ray was a key factor in mgs4 creation I think its safe to say at this point if you want mgs4 your gonna need a PS3.

Anyway my freind loves this and GT so he will be in heaven when those games come out.

2 discs? So how would that work? Do you switch between discs for certain tracks?

@ KaliKot

People like racing sims because it feels like driving an actual car, unlike your average Burnout/Midnight Club bullshit that arcade racer fans just love to buy. I do understand that racing physics are hard to understand to the uninitiated, but sim racing will always be way more satisfying and rewarding to those that actually enjoy the idea of getting a realistic driving experience out of a video game.

Rumors have it that GT5 will be unveiled at E3 with a release date also...

Interesting to see how this plays out. The speculation is 700 cars and 96 tracks for GT5.

Meh, both of the games are just big car company advertisements, anyway.

@Gimic

No they aren't.

And Forza is miles better than GT, looking forward to this.

I will cry if the option to install disk 2 is not available.
Manly tears, of course.

Forza physics are a joke, wonder how you came up with Forza being miles better than GT... especially considering GT5 isn't even out yet.

Oh yea I forgot, you're an XBOT on the internet, logic not required.

Nice to see that microsoft's willing to throw everything at Forza to try to beat GT. Yet, it's polyphony digital who did the in-dash for the GT-R, not MS or Turn-10.

Forza feels like Car and Driver TV compared to the GT series is more like... Top Gear(GT5 Prologue even has eps of TG available!... although any TG nut worth their salt knows where to go). Forza feels bland. If GT is a game about driving and racing enthusiasm, then Forza's like a book report on engine dynamics.

The difference in attitudes about racing and driving couldn't be any more different.

Example, Forza 2 has no real WRC spec cars. Forza's idea of a rally car are tuned factory Evos and fucking Subarus. (hint: the WRC champion for the last 5 years running has been a frenchie driving a french car. Citroen's not even in Forza. Also, MINE'S nor Tommy Kaira are rally teams; no Prodrive tuned subaru, no rally. period.)

No Rally, no F1, lacking classic car selection... There's just nothing there. Sure, Ferraris, but, screw Ferraris, I want to nitro tune a DeLorean!

(Also, Ferraris in GT HD, so, GT5 most likely WILL have ferraris. I'm hoping either game gets the Veyron.)
