I dont think this means it "fell flat" -- especially if retailers allegedly closed their doors due to the threat. I also disagree that Geohot is sitting pretty. I'm sure he has a gag order or something; I strongly doubt that he doesnt have a ton to say about the whole thing still. It sucks that most members of Anonymous (particularly ones I know in person around the Connecticut area) are largely kids who just want to be pricks.

Companies that set prices stupid high and make billions in profit. Well insurance and intercom is bullshit in Canada. Stupid ICBC, I am at a 43% discount (max) and I still pay $1500/year while ICBC's profits are like 10 billion, WTF.

Instead of protesting this crap these folks need to protest Wal-Mart because there's an example of a company that is actually fucking over their employees and workers all over the world and it is only getting worse, not to mention their censorship of so many different forms of art.
.. it's easy and takes no effort to download a program to do a DDOS attack, but actually getting off their butts and doing something like walking to a store and protesting actually takes some effort and even a little commitment to the cause.
