Anomaly: Warzone Earth now free to PS Plus subscribers

6:00 AM on 12.18.2012

PlayStation Plus subscribers are getting Anomaly: Warzone Earth for free this week! It's described as a action strategy tower offense game, which is kind of hard to imagine so good thing there's a trailer.

Actually, even based on the trailer I wasn't really all that interested in playing the game. That is until I dug up our review where we gave it a 9 out of the 10. That's a great score, considering it was Maurice Tan at the time who reviewed the game. Maurice is a pretty critical guy, so him liking anything was a big deal.

Unfortunately, Maurice is dead now. Wait, what's that? OH! He's working on the Dead Island franchise now. Sorry, I got confused there for a second.

[Pssshhh: I just saw the PlayStation Twitter promote this Amazon deal for a 320GB PlayStation 3 with a year membership to PlayStation Plus for $249.99. That's a great deal. You won't even need to buy a game with all the free games you'll get instant access to!]
