Oh, don't tell me you honestly didn't see this one coming! Angry Birds has become Finland's chief export, so naturally, a theme park was going to be constructed. It happened with Pokémon, it happened with Charles Dickens (true story!), and it's happening with Rovio's golden goose.
Technically, the forthcoming Angry Birds Land will not be a standalone attraction but a themed addition to Särkänniemi Adventure Park in Tampere, Finland. In other words, Angry Birds Land is to Särkänniemi as Seuss Landing is to Universal's Islands of Adventure. Minus the green eggs and ham.
Leading up to the grand opening of Angry Birds Land this summer, sneak peek photos will be revealed on the park's website and Facebook page. Finland really wants to ride the Angry Birds train hard, huh? I mean, what else is it known for outside of its borders? Nightwish?

Where is my DOOM theme park then?
Theme park based on a casual physics phone game?
First, the Kingdoms: Mushroom, Hyrule and Dreamland. There's enough material there for attractions and rides that those 3 could be their own park.
Then PokePark. Snap Safari, Stadium with 'real' battles, rides, etc.
Next, Star Road: attractions based on Metroid, Starfox, Pikmin and Mario Galaxy.
Donkey Kong Country is self-explanatory. Pirate ships, giant beehive jungle gym, vine swinging, rock climbing, water rides.
Finally, there's the in-park WiiSort - a real-life replica of the Resort island from WiiSports and Pilotwings, complete with all their activities. Even flying lessons!
