Those among us who have decided to hate Angry Birds for arbitrary reasons can enjoy another opportunity to "weep for the industry" today, as Rovio's smash mobile game has surpassed 250 million downloads.

The studio is currently working on a new game called Wine and Dine, as well as an egg-themed cookbook. It's also planning to launch Angry Birds Magic, a new platform that can unlock location-based content via any mobile phone.

The Rovio train just keeps on riding. Commence your weeping.
