Angry Birds Star Wars sounds like what you would expect
In retrospect, Rovio Entertainment collaborating with Lucasfilm seems spot on. Not so much thematically, but in terms of how both Star Wars and Angry Birds have made obscene amounts of money through merchandising. Now, the two can do it together across a few different avenues. As you might have already seen, there's a ton of -- how can I put this politely? -- stuff in the works, from costumes to figures to Hasbro games. More relevant to our interests, however, is the actual videogame planned for Angry Birds Star Wars that's coming to iOS, Android, Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, Windows Phone, and Windows 8. Clearly, there will be no escape. Confirmed locations include Tatooine and the Death Star. I think you get the idea by now. Did you know? Legacy Comments (will be imported soon)They've got to have a level set in the Death Star trenches with the goal being hitting the exhaust port. I enjoy Angry Birds. Space is pretty fun. Something to do when pooping or waiting in a line. I'd play Angry Birds Star Wars, might be neat. Not surprising...Star Wars sold out decades ago and Rovio is wise to cash in on the craze while they can. Hopefully the final gaming product has some kind of redeeming quality, but I can't be too offended by this. You guys have gotta admit this is a great way to keep Star Wars relevant for the kiddies. Star Wars has been about merchandising for a long time now, and the folks in charge of it are geniuses at it. I find the fact that an inane game like AB has made obscene amounts of money obscene. And depressing. 4:00 AM on 05.24.2013 DeNA's next two games are G.I. Joe and Dungeons & DragonsDeNA is continuing their partnership with Hasbro by releasing two new titles: G.I. Joe Battleground and Dungeons & Dragons Arena of War. G.I. Joe I expect will be much like the Transformers game where you collect and bat...
