Ugh no thanks. I tried the free version of Pocket Edition and the controls were just horrible. I wouldn't even spend a penny on it.
How the hell do you change the controls? Jumping with the same button essentially used for movement is a complete pain in the ass.

Will be cool if the updates are free. Until then... this is barely a software progam, and definitely not a game.

The discount is android specific as part of their billionth download or something, I'm not sure how much Mojang has to do with it although one would assume they'd have to approve it

@Quantumriian I loaded it up for a minute or two to screw around. Manual jump is placed in the middle of the Dpad... very odd but w/e if he'll jump when I need him to i'll take it.
Yeah the placement of the manual jump is strange but Steve auto jumps as you approach a blocj, just keeping moving forward.
I only manually jumped when placing large towers of.blocks under me and then the placement made sense as I could set the camera looking straight down and jump with my left thumb and place with my right making it very quick.
Obviously, customizable interfaces and controls would make this a moot problem. It's like no one played the conduit, or pc games prior to this generation of consoles. What's up with that?

In stoked to see what's in store for the rest for the days. Gta comes out before the end of the promotion...it would be way cool for them to launch day one at .10 to get the balk rolling with android. I saw that the developers of further rope make 10 to 20 times more profit each month from Apple over android. I wonder what the takeaway for Mojang is.
Horseshit. I JUST paid full price the other day for it and it's lame as hell. Give me adventure mode or nothing!
