ok i do not like how these new pokemon look.at all. yet i like pokemon so much and i have been wanting a new pokemon game ill be jumping on this bandwagon.
As an avid pokemon fan I can honestly say that I think I'll adore Black and White. Everything revealed so far seems amazing, and it looks like it might very well become my favorite pokemon game once I can finally get my hands on it. I might even import, but it's a little pricey and I've got no experience. Still got 40 days to decide, though.
Also, expect major leaks between now and the 11th, next coro coro issue is going to be ENORMOUS.

Seeing these new designs has been hell. It's as if half of them are well designed creatures that should have been around years ago, and half of them are convoluted abominations.
Will beating up the drag queen pokemon be considered a hate crime?

MEH. I've liked every Pokémon generation so far, I don't get the hate. I can say I love GSC and my least favorite was RSE, but I still like them all and it looks like this one will not be an exception.
I still like Pokemon, but I really wish that all the trainers and Pokemon weren't all chibi animu f*ggots these days.

Okay, that rock pokemon is looking pretty fucking badass. Every generation, rock and steel seem to get pretty lucky when it comes to decent pokemon design (with the exception of Nosepass and its horrid abomination of an evolution).
Where's that Fire and Water combo I've been waiting for since the fifth grade, eh? You keep making these goddamn Pikachu clones, but we can't a decent hot spring Pokemon! ARGH! HOT SPRING!
This new generation is looking very interesting. Sure its playing some safe cards by using very familiar styles, but there's some new stuff we haven't seen before. I like this very much.

awwwww heck yeah! the new game is gonna have seasons? this is the first i've heard of this. can't wait to use that friggin rock monster. looks sweeeeeeeeet.
@Oishidesu True. Even gen 1 had abominations like Mr Mime and Jinx and uninspired mons like Magneton and Dugtrio.
Why does everyone love Crobat so much? Aside from the fact that it sounds strangely close to "crowbar" shich reminds you of Gordon Freemon, therefore making Crowbat seem cooler than it actually is.
I think it's as ugly as Zubat and Golbat.
Eh.. anyway, I continue to LOL at the responses from the nostalgia-driven Pokemon fans who think anything after Gen (insert number 1-3 here) sucks. 150 unique designs is a lot to make, and some of the original 151 were pretty lacking in creativity if you ask me. And don't get me started on some of the newer Pokemon. A rock nose? WTF? That aside, they're at least trying a game design that looks different enough to feel fresh to those like myself who have played at least one out of each generation of Pokemon games. I can go on and on about how these silly little additions are generating way too much hype for what they are, and how that proves how much of a "stuck in the past" series the main Pokemon games are, but I'll just say that while I think there's still a lot of room for improvement, B+W is at least a step in the right direction and I'm sure to end up hopping back on the bandwagon.
How I managed to dodge Heartgold and Soulsilver and keep myself from buying into it just to relive my Pokemon Pikachu days is beyond me, though. Part of me hopes to see the Pokewalker return again here.

Can someone please tell me why nintendo thinks rodents are electric? First they have pikachu, which was just being crazy, then they add plusle and minun, then pachirisu, then a flying squirrel who is also electric.

The worst part of these games will be having to stare at these designs until you've beaten it. I wouldn't mind only new Pokemon till then if the designs weren't so bad. With a few exceptions, most of these designs SUCK.
@gameman87: That's an incredibly subjective statement/argument. The designs suck TO YOU. Personally, I think it looks sweet. If the designs truly turn you off that much then why force yourself to beat the game? If it's going to be such a personal struggle for you DON"T BUY THE DAMN GAME. Problem solved.
God every bit of new pokmemon news gets me so damn excited. I can't recall another series ever that made me feel this way.
@ gameman87- Yeah, I don' suggest that you buy this game unless you like the new designs. That's pretty much the whole point of playing it.
