So apparently, the Penny Arcade Expo show floor is packed with videogames. Who knew?
Some are better than others, and some of them, well... some of them we think are simply great. We've hand-selected six from the latter category, with the only two requirements for qualification: it has to be pretty awesome, and it has to be 100% playable to the attending public.
But it's not up to us which of the seven nominees takes the award. We'll be passing out ballots to everyone from the Destructoid community who is attending PAX. We'll tally votes and announce the winner after we sleep off our PAX hangovers from this awesome weekend.
While we won't be accepting votes from readers who are not attending PAX -- if you weren't at the expo, you couldn't have played the games -- feel free to let your voice be heard in the comments. Hit the jump to see our seven selections.

Dead Space Extraction and RE Darkside Chronicles are also very good.
Also, Borderlands is amazing.
Might be a bit early to be making this kind of judgment call (as it's not coming out until Jan) but I think its got sleeper hit written all over it.
*looks at his 360 and PS3*
*orgasms*
I'm hoping that Mass Effect 2 wins. I'd say Left 4 Dead 2 but I don't really want a game as epic and grand as ME2 to be worse-looking than a multiplayer shooter. It isn't that I don't want L4D2 to be great, I just don't want it to be better than an huge-budget action-RPG.
Dude ME as a series is so awesome in a it's-been-done-but-dammit-this-is-polished kind if way. ME2 really reflects that in all areas.
Pleeease help me get excited about thisss!
ONLY NINE MORE DAYS!
I haven't played any of these though, so what do I know? I should have thought to buy a PAX ticket, but every other year they've been available at the door. I guess I learned my lesson that.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!
I really don't care too much about the other games on that list. maybe Left 4 Dead 2.
You're doing PAX a disservice by not even nominating Split Second. That was hands down the best playable game on the floor.
Also, that ink is sweet.
