Anarchy Reigns introduces us to Sasha

12:20 PM on 02.02.2011

Here's another bite-sized gameplay trailer, along with some screens, concerning Platinum Games' Anarchy Reigns. Yesterday we met Zero, a quick-witted ninja. Today, we're introduced to Sasha, otherwise known as The Ice Queen.

As her nickname implies, Sasha has a chilly theme to her fighting style, using the "Snow Blades" as her predominant weapon. She also looks a bit like Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 4, only not quite as girly.

This is still looking hot, but I think I'll need to learn more about the online portion of the game before I get really excited, as something tells me that's where the main focus is going.

Heading into a quick hands-on session with Bayonetta 2, I figured my inexperience wouldn't matter much. Wow, was I ever wrong. Now a few hours removed from the demo, my head's still spinning from trying to discern exactly what the hell just happened.more

See more of Platinum's Legend of Korra game

We're in a great point in technology that 2D properties can be faithfully represented in 3D instead of looking weird and uncanny. Platinum's Legend of Korra game looks pretty neat, even to someone who hasn't watched the...more

Platinum's The Legend of Korra releasing in October

Months later, I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that action studio extraordinaire Platinum Games is behind an Activision-published videogame adaptation of The Legend of Korra. Potential -- real potential -- for a lic...more
