Anamanaguchi playing in San Francisco this Sunday photo

This Sunday night, Anamanaguchi, Mr. Spastic, A Rival and crashfaster will be playing at the DNA Lounge on 375 Eleventh Street in San Francisco. The show will be from 7PM to 11:30PM and tickets are going for $10 if you purchase in advance or $15 at the door.

8bitSF has provided a little musical sampler of all the bands performing to help give you an idea if you’d want to check out the bands. I know a few members of Dtoid San Francisco are also going so be sure to hit them up if you’d like to meet up with them!

I was planning on going myself, but then remembered that Anamanaguchi will be playing at PAX the following weekend for free!

[Thanks, Zen Albatross]

Aw man, I love those guys. It'd be nice if Denver saw more of an 8-bit scene, but it's nice to know that the scene is out there and exists at all.

I dig Anamanguchi, but I can only really listen to a song or two at a time. A whole concert is a bit much.

Anamanaguchi's Dawn Metropolis is my album of the year so far. It's that good. I like it even better than more mainstream releases (e.g., Deastro, Passion Pit, St. Vincent, Phoenix, etc.). I'm serious about my music, and I'm serious about Anamanaguchi. In my opinion, they are the best chiptune artist out there (though they've grown beyond that simple label).

Neat. I did the art for the flyer up there. Thanks for putting word out about the show. It's gonna be awesome!

Anamanaguchi has been in my playlist for a couple years now. If you're in the SF area, get to the show. Support your local chiptune scene.
