Last week the people at Ubisoft and Namco Bandai put on a special evening to welcome the newest addition to the Soulcalibur V line up: Ezio Auditore da Firenze. I had a little look around the event and found a few people to talk to!
I also managed to get some hands on experience with Soulcalibur V in a mini competition, but failed. I was very impressed though! If you want to read more about Ezio in Soulcalibur V then check out Wesley Ruscher’s preview about the addition of the Italian assassin, or his general SCV preview. Ezio certainly looks right at home in the Soulcalibur world and the developers at Project Soul have worked to make him a more balanced character than he perhaps was in earlier builds of the game.
In addition to Soulcalibur V there was also a showing of the short film Embers, which is an essential watch for any Assassin’s Creed fan. It shows the final chapter in Ezio’s life as well as providing a possible hint to the direction of the next game -- China anyone?
Make sure to keep your eye out for more Soulcalibur V updates and the game will be with us from February next year!
Apologies for the darkness of the video. It was a dimly lit room with flickering candles!

A lot of companies have been releasing their financial figures lately, but it doesn't seem as if any can hold a candle to Ubisoft's performance. While most had a non-remarkable or down year in fiscal 2013, Ubisoft reported pr...

Notebooks out, kids; it's time for a history lesson. Today, Ubisoft is the substitute teacher, and it wants to talk a bit about the golden age of piracy.
