Actually, based on the breakaway success of Uno on XBLA, the sad truth is that if they did make an online version of Simon, it would probably sell easy at $10 a pop. One can only hope an HD version of Rock, Paper, Scissors is in the pipeline.

Any jack ass can memorize game so much that they can do it without looking. The dad needs to enroll him in the football team.

though i couldn't do that myself, he's not automatically some super star

though he did get a 5-star rating on expert difficulty, that's not the hardest song, as he memorized the repetitive riffs easily. he also did make a healthy number of mistakes on the really fast notes which he obviously couldn't keep up with

and like, it's not a real guitar, as much as i hate to say it. show me a video of him shredding a on a real axe, and then i'm really impressed

but i guess all in all, being an 8-year-old who can handle guitar hero gives you some internet cred

Watch the kid's Freebird video. It exposes him as a fake. He's rockin' out on the whammy bar on-screen (which he claims in the Psycho Freakout video is broken) and you never see his hand touch it.

Also, how the heck does he hit the first and fifth button with 8-year-old hands?

About the whammy bar issue:

I think this kids for real. I just watched the Freebird video and I can't for the life of me see any spot where the whammy sound is ACTUALLY happening (or shown on screen) when it doesn't pan back and show him hitting it.

You can see him hitting the whammy several times in only the first few minutes.

And all that HWAAAAAaaaaAA-ing you're hearing is just the song. It goes all over the place WITHOUT you having to whammy it up 90% of the time. Watch the screen and you'll see that many of the notes that change tone or sound like they're bent are just single, unwhammied notes on screen.

@lAboMbA:I am quite the nerd, but I try to keep up with sports quite a bit. Football's not my forte, but I know my fair share about the current game. I'm more of a baseball fan, and I love watching hockey, but it's been really hard for me to catch a game this year.

Wow. Props to the backwards playing. Too bad once is comes out on 360 I will have to school that punk in the ways of rock. And maybe roll too. But mostly rock. Shouldn't he be like playing outside though? He's gonna end up playing 120 hours of WoW a week by the time he's 12. Which isn't necessarily good.
