Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs teaser toots Inception horn

2:00 AM on 06.15.2012

Now I'm sure that sort of sound effect has been used somewhere else before Inception did it, but right now I can't think of any, and "creepy-fied Inception horn" is the best way to describe the unnerving music backing this teaser to Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs, the new horror game from Frictional (Amnesia: The Dark Descent) and thechineseroom (Dear Esther).

What's in the trailer, you ask, besides blaring horns I'll be hearing in my sleep tonight? Well, dark environments, and a few seconds of abject terror. Will "Under The Stairs In The Storeroom" sequence top The Dark Descent's "Flooded Corridor"?
