This Japanese television commercial advertises the upcoming PlayStation 3 game Ninja Gaiden Sigma, and as beautiful as the game looks (check the PS3 demo), what may have caught your eye is the girl in the video. The leggy lass that is hogging the demo kiosk and holding up the line is named Leah Dizon, and the name should tip you off - she's not Japanese at all.
Leah got her start as a import car model (think Import Tuner magazine) here in America. Now, this Las Vegas, Nevada born beauty is a Japanese television personality, model, and recording artist, with two photobooks and a couple of hit pop singles under her belt. And now she's selling PS3 games in Japan? How is that fair? They get commercials starring our gorgeous girls, and we get floating eggs and freaky babies? I guess it could be worse - we could've got this sh*t.
Anyway, Leah Dizon is worth looking into. Her last hit "Softly" is pretty good if you dig J-pop, and her newest PV (promotional video) "Koi Shiyou" is hot. Her latest photobook, called Hello! Leah, is definitely one for the collection.

Japanese people don't like our games. They do like our clothes, movies, bands, actors, and tv shows. They just hate our games.
M$ needs to get Harrison Ford, Yngwie Malmstien, and Jessica Biel on the phone. If every 360 sold with an autographed picture of them triple kissing, the 360 would be selling in Japan like banana splits sell in Alabama in the summer time.
Heh, Everytime I think of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, I think "port, won't do well, everyone has already played it, why by a shinier version of something you have had twice already", and this post just made me realize... The japanese hated the xbox. It really makes me wonder if Ninja Gaiden Sigma will do well on the PS3, at least in japan. It's like a brand new game to them. The Japanese do love Ninja Gaiden,... right?
Wow... this post made my day.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
