Everytime I see news about this game I wonder If they were on crack over at Square headquarters when they announced this game. Really, why in the hell didn't they just put all their resource in FFv13 since it was announce YEARS AGO?!!?
Looks great and all, but if the game is anything like FF13 I wouldn't even touch it with a 10 mile long stick.

That stick would be structurally unsound and very hold to hold so I'm not sure you could touch anything to tell you the truth.

As much of a FF fan as I am, I 100% agree with Sir Tobbii. FFXIII was the only FF game I've ever traded in, & I didn't even shed a tear. It was a bit crap.
I like evolution in my RPG mechanics, so XIII is in my top 5 favorite FFs. Can't wait to pick this up.
I usually ignore collector's editions, but "art by Yoshitaka Amano" has my attention. There were a lot of things about FF XIII that I enjoyed, so I'm looking forward to XIII-2.

Oh fuck yes I'm switching my pre-order to this. Couldn't care less about the pre-order bonuses but I do very much care about that soundtrack, art book and swanky case. Didn't buy a singe special edition in 2011, but with this and Mass Effect 3 that's at least two I know I'm getting next year.

Hmmm now I'm in a bind, I either buy it, and probably hate the game, or wait it on it (like I was planning to) and hope that the special edition is still around. Considering this has a 4 disc soundtrack it has a lower chance of being around for a sale.......*sigh* I guess I'm getting it.
I am somewhat disappointed we don't get the shirt, and that the CE doesn't include CE exclusive DLC.

Looks nice. Unfortunately FF13-2 will be gayer than Elton John, a gayness level matched only by FF10-2.
First: I loved FFXIII. Sure it was no XII or VII but it was way better than X at least. Second: Now I must debate between this and getting it day one or getting the superior Crystal Edition from the UK and waiting. Hmmm.

I tried to like XIII, but the game was just shit. There is no way in hell I am buying this. To me, the series ended at IX.
SE has my money. No online passes and they still make great games to me. So I will get this CE for sure.
Amazon pre-orders get a boss battle! Hell yes! Although I imagine all these "pre-order bonus" to find its way to everyone after some time but the package seems worthy enough.
Ugh, Europe's Crystal Edition is effectively this, only more expensive and less attractive.
