Amazon selling collector's editions at turbo cheap prices photo

As we march ever onward toward Black Friday, Amazon is showering us with mouth-watering deals. Today is a day for the gamers, with prices slashed on a variety of collector's editions. Some of these bad boys have up to 75% knocked off the asking price!

Highlights include the Duke Nukem Forever "Balls of Steel" package for $17.99, the Deus Ex: Human Revolution "Augmented Edition" for $49.99 and the Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles - Amazon Exclusive Figure Collection for $49.99. That last one was sarcasm, LOLLERDEX!

My personal suggestion would be Singularity, which costs $19.99 and comes with a graphic novel. It's not the great deal on the page, but Singularity is a better game than people give it credit for, and deserved a lot more attention than it got. Consider dropping the bones for it if you have some cash to spare.

Check out the Amazon page while it lasts!

I dont even like Naruto, but Im betting its way less broken of a game than Duke Nukem is. Id rather pay $50 for a game I dont like that I can at least play and feel decent about myself than 18 for the garbage that is Duke Nukem

Singularity is a gem of a game and well worth $20.

Nothing really great here, I looked it over earlier. Amazon has sold most of this for less at some point, including Deus Ex. As far as Duke Nukem goes, GameFly has the regular version for $6, and I passed on that.

I played Singularity recently and it was actually pretty damn good. Very well paced with fun gunplay. Surprisingly there are still a bunch of people playing it's interesting monster vs. humans MP, which is a fun diversion in it's own right. You prolly can find it for 14 or even ten used but if you want to support publishers or some crazy nonsense like that its still worth 20. I'm waiting for Deus Ex to drop to the 20-24 range myself. So nothing really here for me but I'm a super cheep asshole.

Desus ex should be the price of duke nukem on gamely ... That game was sooo not worth 60$ or 49.99 , it's a pretty game in a few spots don't get me wrong it's just too buggy and too easy.

Half the walls I could walk through !? If enimes were there they couldn't see me but would look around for me though I was standing walking with them they didn't see me? Buggy buggy broken game on the ps3. I shelved it till I traded it in for credit for skyrim.

(side note ps3 skyrim lag fix is only use two save files or restart. If you want just backup the saves then delete them, a patch Is coming soon I hear.)

Jim I completely agree with you about Singularity. What a fun game that nobody played. It was polished, felt great, looked great and had a meaty campaign with some great twists. I have been buying copies of that game for friends for over a year and every one of them have fallen in love with the game.

Such a shame Activision farted it out with little advertising.

Dark Souls being sold at 0% discount. I tried clearing it up over the phone but the representative told me to just refrain from purchasing it until they fix the list. Maybe I should just get Deus Ex instead?

Also, since everyone is talking about it I bought Singularity for $8 brand spanking new at Gamestop (daily deal) and loved the crap out of it!

GET IT!

Everyone buy Singularity.

It's great, shame you won't find anyone playing the multiplayer, because it was one of the most addicting multiplayer games I've played in some time. Alas, it lasted for two months, just long enough for me to miss out on the last 3 achievements I needed.

Fakku online community.

Maybe people have gotten back into it, I wound up trading it in when it took me no less than 20 minutes to find a match, and that match had 3 other people in it.

Singularity is on my list to buy for my backlog. Keeps growing as I play fallout 3 and Skyrim at the same time.

Singularity is a fun little game. It's fairly short and linear but the action is surprisingly satisfying. My one gripe was those horrible horrible accents and voice acting.

Just bought PS3 Augmented edition for 39.99 w/free shipping. Good deal. I was waiting for this game to go one sale- the fact that it was the special edition is even better.

I clicked the link and its showing Deus Ex's Augmented edition to actually be $39.99, which is an even better deal then mentioned in the article.

Mortal Kombat: Kollectors Edition is $59.99 and that kind of excites me, those bookends packed in are real sharp and would look great on my shelf.

@hanowyoucantseeme:

Something tells me you didn't play DX:HR on the hardest difficulty if you found the game to be too easy.

@ausI0 at first no I wasn't but after falling through the floor a dozen times I started the hard diificulty "give me desus ex" although I never fell through the floor after that I could instead walk through some walls invisible to the npcs unless I opened a door.

The game was so damn broken/slow. Half the time before any confrontation I'd just walking around boxing people in by stacking dumpsters start the fight and kill em fish in barrel style.... Or kill them because they shoot like g I joes never hitting a damn thing .

@ Shaun: Actually, that latest one for the Wii was one of the most broken, horrid experiences I've ever suffered through, with awful graphics, busted gameplay, and music that made my ears want to kill themselves.

This is irksome, though, because I spend full-price on the Balls of Steel edition of Duke on launch day because I'd been waiting since I was around 4 or 5 for that game to come out. ;S

If you're a fan of the FPS genre then you should definitely get Singularity, really strong Half-Life/Resident Evil vibe to it but in the best possible way, as a cheap thrill you can't go wrong. Really worth a punt for $20.

It's not the longest game in the world though but there are plenty of quirky little gimmicks to keep you engaged over the 7-8 hour campaign which is a really intense ride all the way through, none of it feels like 'filler' and it's a really well put together title with some truly memorable set pieces that puts the likes of Call of Duty to shame.
