Amazon's Deal of the Day is a Blizzard lovefest photo

With new iterations of Diablo and StarCraft in the works, it's as good of a time as any to pick up either series from the very beginning. Amazon has got an incentive for you to do just that, namely a price reduction good for today only.

The Battle Chests for StarCraft, Diablo, and Warcraft III are all half off, which means $9.98, $19.98, and $19.98, respectively. Yes, this isn't the first time these collections have gone on sale, and it certainly won't be the last, but if you haven't played these timeless games yet, you owe it to yourself to impulse buy them.

What are you waiting for? Go throw fistfuls of cash at Amazon while you still can.

That's a great deal!

Just a heads up for people grabbing the titles, if you register your CD-Key at Blizzard.com, you get permanent access to a digital copy bound to your account! I've got my copies of Diablo II and Warcraft III/Frozen Throne all set up there and can download them any time I like. No DRM whatsoever.

This looks to be a retail-wide price drop. The Warcraft III and Diablo Battlechests are also 19.99 at Gamestop.

If you have not played Diablo 2, you need to go buy it right the fuck now.

Who DOESN'T have these games by now? I also can't believe Blizzard is STILL developing stuff for Diablo 2.

Well my Starcraft disc was missing from it's case so I guess I'll just re-buy it.
