Amazon has a pretty kick-ass pre-order deal for Valve's highly anticipated April 19th release, Portal 2, right now. If you place an order now you'll get the game plus a $20 Amazon credit, all for the price of $54.99. That's $5 of the list price, plus free spending money!
The deal is good for PS3, PC and Xbox 360, but it seems they're having trouble with the PS3 pre-orders. Amazon's Twitter says that they're working to get it fixed now.

There is no $20 Amazon credit for PC version.
They could have a small amount of it, but it wouldn't be advisable as to give them any at all. I know from experience that my dogs have eaten my peanut butter sandwiches while I wasn't looking and lived to tell about it.
Also, wouldn't it be better for Amazon to announce this stuff before the release date is this close? Most people that are gonna preorder already have preorders down at GameStop and on Steam.
Still though, great deal. I might actually preorder using Amazon this time.
But damn, is that $20 credit tempting....

This $20 credit is going towards my Amazon credit stockpile that I've saving to get an NGP on the cheap. At this rate I'll be able to nab one for sub $100.

@Pixel - Last minute sales are common. People who really want the game have already pre-ordered without incentive. Retailers are now trying to pull in more people, the ones on the fence, to maximize sales.

Im no valve fanboy and I loved Portal! I sat down my first time and beat it in a single sitting. I also think HL2 was better than HL1...GASP!
so i saved 3 cents more than you suckers, hah!
As much as I like Valve and enjoyed Portal, I wasn't entire sure of spending $60 on Portal 2, this just pushed me over the fence.
