This should be pretty interesting, right? Japan's top ten game purchases on Amazon? Surely it won't be all RPGs and monsters and hunting and whatnot, right?
Well...
So there's a lot of role-playing games. What do you want? It's Japan! The big one was Dragon Quest IX, naturally. Mii on-the-go game Tomodachi Collection (Friend Collection) was right behind it in the #2 spot, though. Otaku made their mark with #5, PSP game Hatsune Miku PROJECT DIVA. Who would have thought the mascot would get their own game one day?
Some of my favorites are on this list, too. Resident Evil 5, Tales of Vesperia (PS3) and Yakuza 3 made the cut. Oh, and Monster Hunter 3. You can't have Japan without Monster Hunter.

RE5 surprised me on that list though.
maybe they will, when western developed games become appealing. Ya know games that aren't all post apocalyptic, open world, black and white moral choice filled piles of boring trash.

Primarily though, I'm just pissed Bamco hasn't announces ToV PS3 for the west yet.
That's just opinion though - of which mine is practically the complete opposite of yours. Japanese games stopped appealing to me when my NES died of 'no more blowing the cartridges is going to save this piece of crap' syndrome.
