Amazon has Dissidia as Deal of the Day photo

The idea of Dissidia: Final Fantasy is probably more entertaining than the game will be (Jim's review was less than exuberant), which is why I've held off on picking up a copy for myself. Today may be the day, as Amazon has the series-spanning button-masher at a 43% discount. That means it's $22.98 if you didn't want to do the math yourself.

Of course, it's their Deal of the Day and will only be available at that price for twenty-four hours or until they run out of stock. While I'm doubtful that the latter will occur, I'm sure there are some people out there who have at least been curious and waiting for a price drop.

Any of you going to pick this up today? Do you guys think this is a bargain or should the price have to dip a little further?

Game was awesome. I've put 100+ hours into it and would've paid far more than $40 for it.
Aside from that, I'd be all for a cheap digital copy.

Hah I bought it for 27 or whatever that last Deal of the Day; however at 23 bucks you gotta pay shipping so you'd have to find something else to toss in.

Still have it sealed on my shelf but at that price I didn't wanna pass it up.

Clocked 120+ hours so far, guess I'm still feeling pretty good about it.

lol at people who think you can't have UMDs AND play your games off memory stick.

Foolish mortals.

This game was the DoTD yesterday.

I think it's a new title in there now.

Um, I thought it was NBA 2k10 today. At least, it was 2 hours ago when I checked it.

I just bought a Dissidia PSP bundle from Gamestop and that game is hot shit. If you're on the fence, definitely take this chance to pick it up.

I know this may seem like a minor gripe, but you guys really have to stop calling it a button masher. If a "button masher" is the instance of hitting square to watch a 4 second attack animation then well, damn man.

(lol) at Dissida being a button masher. Try playing someone who knows what they're doing.

No go on that deal of the day. It's now NBA Live 10. Though the game is selling for $28 w/ free super-saver shipping if anyone's interested.

Apparently I've been EX Bursts and Bravery Attacks all this time, I'll start button-mashing and see where that gets me.

This reminds me, its Shantotto day in FFXI. Ohohohoho!

@Magnalon: Hell, try playing against any of the 'hard' computer enemies in story mode, let alone a good human opponent. It'd be nice if people actually leveled legitimate criticism against the game, like the fanfiction-level storyline.
@TSP: Every day is Shantotto day for me ever since I unlocked her. She was my favorite npc in FFXI, and I *almost* wish I was still playing so I could do that new content involving her.
