I still need a PS3 one of these days, but at this point, I think I'd rather just save for a new computer. However, I really want to play MGS4.
Borderlands? I was going to say Deus Ex. Aside from the cover system, all the shooting takes place in first person, but it relies pretty heavily on the open world aspect of the game, mixing with side quests, inventory management, skill trees, and experience.
Sounds like Action RPG meets First Person Shooter to me. And besides, Borderlands is pretty old at this point. You can find a new copy for $15 these days. A sale seems pretty pointless to me.

Deus Ex is my guess too. Borderlands has been featured many times and is old. Mass effect is third person.
Sounds like Deus Ex to me. Borrowed from a friend to play through originally, and if it is the lightning deal I'll definitely be picking it up. I'm surprised how cheap this game can be found already (would have picked it up on Steam when it was EIGHT DOLLARS the other day, if I actually possessed a PC capable of running it).
