Amazon is gearing up for the holidays with their Prelude to Black Friday event. All week, they'll be posting deals on videogames so you might save a little dough on your gift purchases this year and get it all out of the way early. Of course, that doesn't mean you can't grab a few gifts for yourself while you're at it.
Today's set of deals are all for PC gamers. First up is a bundle savings on Blizzard games. When you buy StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty together with the Battle Chest collections of StarCraft, Warcraft III and Diablo, you get all four for $94.99. That is about fifty bucks off and would pretty much cover me on gifts for my father until after he thinks the world will have ended.
The second offer isn't going to be revealed until 10 AM Pacific, as it's one of those mysterious "Lightning Deals" but, as always, they've left a clue: "Strive to become Ruler of the World." I'm guessing Civilization V is going to be the game.
