In my head everyone in the universe has at least one Xbox 360, if not two. I know several people with more than one system. I had two for awhile. It's hard for me to imagine that there is someone that doesn't own one. Not you. You don't count, Sony fanboy.
If there is one, Amazon.com has a really great deal. If you buy a 4GB Xbox 360 console you'll get a $50 Amazon promotional credit to buy something else with. Maybe your original Xbox 360 is being assy and you need to replace it. This would be a way to get a new system and a game!
There's a similar deal for the Kinect sensor. Buy it and you'll get a $25 credit towards something else nice at Amazon.com.
Note that both of these are limited deals. In either case you'll see your account credited within two days.

If the XBox 360 were really as plagued with hardware problems as its detractors seem to think it is, I'd have an excuse to spend more money on a 360. Thankfully, I can just save that money for the games it supposedly doesn't have.

Just never really felt I needed one as I have more than enough games to play between my PS3, DS, PSP, and PC.
For a while I had always said that I'd get one when they got a little cheaper and a little more reliable, but now that they ARE at that point, I just don't care enough anymore.
Plus, now that I have a fan-translation of Culdcept DS (the best Culdcept iteration), the lure of Culdcept Saga holds no sway over me.
I DID try to buy a 360 when B&N had the wrong price up on their website, but I was at school when I read it (on Destructoid) and didn't get to it in time.

Since that is a 4GB model, I guess the most sensible thing to do with the $50 credit is to immediately spend it on a 250GB drive to put in your new 4GB Xbox 360. 4GB is nothing, not when some games have demos that are nearly 2GB, and DLC that might be half a gig itself.
