Okay, so it's a bit cheesy, but that is what's so great about this Alone in the Dark trailer. I don't often talk about the quality of a trailer itself more than the footage it shows, but I have to say that this particular video really impressed me with the level of direction and style on display -- it really put me in mind of a Hollywood summer blockbuster trailer, and I dig it.
Not much to report other than the sheer win of a video that got me even more excited for this superb looking horror title. I honestly can't wait much longer to see if this one can live up to the excellent promise it holds.

I'm sorry Jim but I'm not seeing any win in this trailer. I thought both the character animation and the sound effects were off (there were a tad on the corny side).
I'm certainly looking forward to the game, but whether or not I'll have the money or time to play it once it comes out are two separate problems entirely.
the art direction and cinematic style of this game is certainly its selling point. we'll see when it comes out if it's an actual game underneath all this.
