All Witcher 2 DLC will be free! photo

With The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings releasing today, CD Projekt RED has announced that all downloadable content for the PC roleplaying game will be free from here on out, beginning with an all-new sidequest today!

"Let me announce that all our DLCs will be FREE. All of them," announced the studio. "If anything will be for purchase, those will be expansion packs."

The first free bit of DLC will be a quest called Troll Trouble. Sounds like it'll involve trouble with trolls, but we might be taking it too literally.

Our review of The Witcher 2 will arrive some time in the near future. We're downloading it right now and will work around the clock to get it completed. It'll be done when it's done.
