All the PixelJunk games on sale on PSN starting tomorrow

9:00 PM on 05.07.2012

Have you yet to complete your PixelJunk collection, but have been waiting for a sale? Well, tomorrow is a good day as any because Q-Games is celebrating PixelJunK's 5th Anniversary by dropping the prices of Racers, Monsters, Eden, and Shooter to only $0.99 a piece. Monsters Deluxe, Shooter 2, and Sidescroller will all be sold for half-price at $4.99. Oh, and Monsters Deluxe? That will become compatible for the PS Vita on May 15th, the same day as 4am releases for the PS3.

I just purchased my PS3 last summer and I'm still catching up on all the exclusives, so I've yet to even jump into the downloadable market for the console. I've always heard amazing things about the PixelJunk series (most notably from Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails himself), and at just under $20 this seems like the perfect time to jump on the collection. What are you guys going to pick up?

Cult of the Wind might just be the funniest arena shooter

A third-person shooter in which combatants are humans pretending to be airplanes -- this is Cult of the Wind. Despite the usual fears that something like this will lose its audience not long after launching, I'm so charmed b...more
