All Strategy First games are 50% off on Steam photo

There's nothing quite like a sale to get you buying things you don't really need, and spending money you don't really have. But that's the situation I find myself in practically every week when Steam does its brilliant marketing ploy sales.

From now until Monday, April 13, any and all games from Strategy First are 50% off, or you can alternatively purchase the company's entire catalog of 30 games for $74.99. Apparently, that's over $275 in savings.

If I were to type all of the games on sale for this promotion, my keyboard would catch on fire, so I'll instead kindly link to the lot of 'em and point out a few notable ones.

As I'm writing this, Sacred Gold is being beamed to my hard drive from Steam's servers. There's also a few FlatOut titles, and a bunch of other games I am not familiar with. Come to think of it, it's probably better for you guys to recommend what games are worth downloading, not me.

Nothing too exciting but for $3 they might be the right price.

At first I thought you meant that all strategy games on Steam were half price...

That wouldve been a much better deal.

I'm getting sacred gold too, while waiting for sacred 2 to be released on the ps3. That much content for 5 bucks is a steal

Ghost Master for $2.50 is probably the most appealing deal of the lot--fun and interesting game for next to nothing.

I may buy 1-2 games, but not all of those.

I really enjoyed Space Empires IV back in the day. We had a group of co-workers who would do Play by Email. It took us several months of playing one campaign. :D

I'd be interested in Space Empires V, but the jump to 3d was not a good idea. IV was ugly, and V looks even worse.

I'll be picking up Alien Shooter: Vengeance at $2.50. I've heard good things, and at that price you can't really be disappointed.

What differentiates Space Empires from something like GalCiv2 (which I love to death)?

most of these games are free on gametap ... well, $10/month but still worth it.

I might get a Flatout for that, always wanted to play them. And Alien Shooter might be nice too for that price. I have both the Shadowgrounds, and I do like shooting aliens.
