Who wants a story in an Aliens vs. Predator game? Nobody with any common sense! The only story you need in Aliens vs. Predator is that some Marines are tooling around in space, they find some Aliens, they find some Predators, and then sh*t goes down. This is why the movies sucked -- they ignored this one golden rule!
Anyway, the "story" trailer for Aliens vs. Predator is pretty light on narrative, so it's all good. It's mostly just Aliens and Predators getting up in people's business while Lance Henriksen lends his superior vocal talents to the whole thing. That's all I'm asking for, Sega. Thank you for delivering.
AvP is out next February. I am looking forward to it a lot.

I see green spray in the various AvP trailers. I don't see holes being burned in floor. I don't see melted marine flesh from the acid spray. Reserving any excitement for this game until molecular acid for blood is confirmed as in the game.
Holy crap i want this game. I love how it's sticking to the Aliens look and feel of things too. I kind of wish they'd ditch the ancient Predator template bullshit that was in the movies though.
The best part of this, was my little brother coming in and seeing two women talking about bleach, and burst out laughing when he read the title of the article as Alien Vs. Predator.
Part of the reason AvP films sucked is because story took a back seat to everything. A good story is the kernel of horror. One of the reasons FEAR was better than FEAR 2.
I'm not one of these idiots who wants story discarded. That's why borderlands sucked ass, it was like fallout 3 but with the great story, setting, characters and quests removed.
Why do Dtoid insist on using viddler for their embedded video, i just got 1 long ad before i played that trailer and another two while it was playing, fucking joke.
Liked the game play graphics. Aliens moved pretty fluid. Comin' out of the walls man! Was the video getting a little choppy at various points for anyone? I hope it wasn't the game but it sure seemed like it.
