I'm simply stunned by the graphics hanging off this thing. The original screens looked like bullshots more than anything else, but the actual video footage seems to show no quality difference whatsoever. This is going to be one of 2010's early jawdropping visual treats, methinks.
Now Sega, let's do something about this whole "me not playing it yet" situation.

it's playing in my firefox -- also, the Eurogamer multiplayer vids are on youtube, deathmatch was all they played and it looks pretty weak. species deathmatch would definitely be where it's at... not a game to play FFA on.
Deathmatch blew pretty hard on the first AvP, it's just to unbalanced, marines are worthless, but some of the other game modes sound great, and I hope they keep the original coop where you just fought waves of AI aliens as marines.

mine either- I complained about it before- for me I think it's ABP, but lately after a new installation within a week w/o adblocking I managed to get 3 pieces of malware that had to be removed purely from page ads with either page forwarding or silent installs on them so for now I am keeping it on - nowadays I just don't watch the vids unless it is something I really want and then I open it in IE just to watch the vid which is annoying.
@ChronosWing - Deathmatch blew in the second one too. Nothing stupider then watching two aliens try to claw each other but not get clawed. Team/Species Deathmatch was fun.
Having been such a huge fan of the original, I hadn't really given these guys any measure that they would be able to live up to the legend of AvP. This movie has single handedly changed my mind. Easily among my most anticipated for 2010 now.
I'm somewhat conflicted about AvP. I absolutely adored AvP 2, but so far, the game doesn't seem quite up to snuff in terms of AI and stuff like that. I've read some previews that have left much to be desired of the upcoming sequel.
At the same time, I want to like this game so badly. The multiplayer component of AvP2 was excellent. Maybe the multiplayer in AvP is the game's saving grace is single player turns out to be a bit lackluster.
Tet, unless I'm mistaken this game is made by Rebellion, the same team responsible for the original AVP PC game. Trouble is, they've completed many, many games since then and the best of them was probably Miami Vice for the PSP.

We are impressed rather easily. It is a small change for MP that sounds rather interesting and these interviews give us hope to the fact that it could be a good game. Rebellion might not make many good games but Sniper Elite is still one of my favorite PC games of all time.
I played AvP at the Eurogamer expo and I was really disappointed. I love the first 2 on the PC but I was devastated by what I played of the new one. I had a few matches of deathmatch and predator hunt and it just felt so boring and generic. I hope it was just because it was early code or something because I really want it to be great.
Mutliplayer better be damn well balanced, after they keep on saying they are trying to find ways to keep it balanced. Kind of excited about this game for how multiplayer looks like it will be based more on strategy hopefully, then you know idiots running around trying to do everything themselves (caugh caugh MW2). I expect a lot of noobs to get owned :), and then complain.
