An absolutely awesome looking special edition for Aliens: Colonial Marines has been discovered online, containing all sorts of neat gear for Xenomorph fanboys.
The special package, yet to be confirmed by SEGA, contains a resin model of an Alien attacking a Power Loader, a wrap-around display, a USCM dossier, and digital content that includes: M240 Flamethrower, M577 A2 Smart Gun, M414 Pulse Rifle Upgrade, and the "USCM Academy Firing Range" game mode.
We'll need to wait for SEGA's word before determining if it's real or an elaborate fake. The only suspect thing I see is that the flamethrower and smart gun seem like they're far too iconic to be restricted to special editions. The smart gun's "M577 A2" name is interesting, as that's the name of the marine's APC vehicle, which indicates this might be a modification of a mounted gun rather than the handheld variety. The flamethrower's name is correct, however.
That was far too nerdy. I'm sorry.

If that is a steelbook case I'm game.
IMO more special editions don't need anything more than a streelbook case, some DLC, and a bonus disc.
