bullshit. it was given several missed time periods of release, if not a date. It could have easily been cleared up if they were more open about its status from the beginning.
Randy Pitchford and co are bullshit artists when it comes to PR.
That said, I enjoyed AVP a lot, and I hope this will turn out as good. Was not a fan of duke nukem (was anyone?) and I thought borderlands was boring as hell.

Come on, man, it's an election year! We will all be riding a massive slide of bullshit all the way down to the pool of shit at the bottom of November. Nobody can make definitive statements about anything in any industry these days.
A game takes as long as it takes to be made. The developers aren't forced to explain themselves to whiny impatient little brats who are too lazy to wait a bit longer.
Prometheus was abysmal. What a waste of an amazing premise. Space jockeys reduced to being lumbering stupid meat heads no better than predators and some truly awful cgi foe some liteXenos. It should have been about the awe and wonder of discovering our makers and finding our place in the universe, and that awe turning to horror due to some clever reason someone should have come up with . They never did though , it was a schlocky confused mess and I've never seen scientists act so stupidly and illogically in a movie . You know that awkward feeling you get when you've gone to see a film with high expectations and it's been awful- you can't talk YO each other because it's almost embarrassing - I had that with MYSELF . This is not hard sci fi, it's not even entertaining schlock like aliens - this Is an idea handed to home and away scriptwriters who inject soapy moments and ridiculous cliched melodrama and forget about the hard questions that could have been approached in the story. On the other hand colonial marines trailer on big screen was more reassuring .

so what a crock of shit this is. the first screens were shown in early 2008 for gods sake - so 2007 is "not so long ago" in game development terms?
