I only post box art on Destructoid if it fulfills one of two objectives -- it's exceptionally amazing, or it features Xenomorphs. You can guess which category this falls under. Or does it fall under both?
In any case, you should know by now that I'll talk about Aliens at any given opportunity, so here's another excuse. There's still no word of a release date for Colonial Marines, but the reveal of box art seems to suggest SEGA's finally serious about releasing it this year.
Can't wait to get my hands on it and see it makes all my dreams come true.

No. Seriously, this game looks fucking amazing. Jim and I have disagreed countless times, but even we both agree this game looks pretty boss.
I was expecting the typical "dark corridor with alien hissing at the camera" approach, and it's nice to see this different take that captures both an alien and the marines in a high contrast composition.
Interesting redesign of Sgt. Cruz, though. I'll be interested to see how detailed the character models have become since that last demo.

Reminds me of Alpha Protocol but cooler.
You play as a bunch of marines running inside an alien head, and occasionally you take control of the alien who is hunting the marines but doesn't know they are actually inside it.
Gearbox also gave us borderlands, so what's your point? No studio, no matter how talented, could make DNF a good game after that long in development hell.
I didn't think Alpha Protocol was that bad.
