Alan Wake goes viral? New site welcomes you to Bright Falls photo

It's just a teaser image at the moment, but a brand new Web site, Brightfalls.com, appears to be the beginning of a viral advertising campaign for Remedy's upcoming Xbox 360 exclusives, Alan Wake.

As we discussed earlier today, a brand new trailer went up, and this site seems to coincide with that. The teaser image welcomes us to Bright Falls and proudly describes it as "The Home of the Annual Deerfest."

Alan Wake, possessing a Twin Peaks-esque feel to the premise, seems like a prime candidate for some viral marketing. If you're interested in this secretive game, it looks like the Bright Falls site is the place to keep an eye on.

It's not exactly a "360 exclusive" when it is coming for the PC too. What might be worth noting is that it's a Vista exclusive however....

Game looks killer though.

I want a game where you shoot Bambi's mom, over and over, and try to make as many kids cry as you can.

I've never understood why so little info has led to so much hype, but if it indeed is more like Twin Peaks than Countryside Shotgun Adventure, I'm intrigued.
