The sweltering summer heat is just around the corner and with it comes Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed, an action role-player with a surprisingly apt title.

Tokyo's famous electronics district, Akihabara, has been overrun with vampire-like creatures that prey on the city's otaku and it's up to you to stop the undead menace. To do just that you'll need to expose the vile monsters to sunlight... by shredding their clothes. Yes, really.

So yeah, XSEED is targeting a summer launch in North America. The "flashy" PlayStation 3 and Vita title will have a physical release and feature Japanese voicework. The publisher is also currently looking into the possibility of dual-audio.

Hashtag all filters: Akiba's Trip 2 has a weird editor on PS4

Akiba's Trip 2 is being ported to PS4 in Japan in a couple months (we get it on PS3 and Vita in August) and Acquire has some videos full of swimsuits and bouncing breasts to show off (below). There's also a weird "visual editor" (above) that lets you change sky color and, for some reason, all color. I get the Instagram "vintage" filter, but what's with the EVERYTHING IS GREEN filter?more
