Kudos to her for sticking up for herself, but I think those words are only going to make things worse.
I can't imagine she's surprised this is happening to her though. I think we're all fully aware of the fact that the internet is a very wonderful thing full of myriad splendors, and the worst fucking people on the face of planet Earth.
Tristrix put it fairly well when he said that E3 brings out the worst in gamers. The presser was typical Ubisoft, but would any of us have had it any other way?
Mind you, this is the year AFTER Mr. Caffeine...
Anyway, did she really have to attack back? If they really ARE living in their parent's basement, that's insult enough.

I liked her and never doubted that she was an actual gamer... and I appreciate that they sought out someone that WAS an actual gamer and not just a spokemodel or pretty face or worst yet, a suit.
Oh... and "Girl Wood" - yeah, that's pretty much been my take-away from the entire E3. Love that expression! LOL!
True. Every time he came on all I could think about was his best video which was made years ago.
I thought she did pretty good, given the co-star and material she was working with. Certainly the best of E3 for what it’s worth.
But out of interest, I love how the response is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS to question the gamers ability to move out from their parents, or have sex, or not be overweight.
Like seriously, change the fucking record.
Then again, Im sure the original abuse they receive is just as creative and cutting edge.
I mean, I sat through a fairly awkward and downright unfunny exchange between Alexander Armstrong, a comedian of all things, and respected actress (and may I say, still sexy as hell for her age) Jenny Agutter...and nobody gives them shit for that. In a two hour show that's full of badly timed exchanges and nervous readings.
And before someone says, "Well, that's tradition, look at the Oscars." Sure, it gets ribbed, but I don't think people threw some shit around on YouTube to an extend similar to E3 presenters. Well, unless it's IMDB. That's a given.
