The PlayStation 3 version of Age of Booty will not be hitting the PlayStation Store as scheduled. Prospective buyers may have noticed this fact, considering it was supposed to come out yesterday. The reason for the delay is quite simple. According to Capcom’s community blog, the game needs a bit more sprucing up.
From the blog post:
We want to ensure the online experience for PSN users is as smooth, fun, and addicting. We also want to ensure all those who dive into the map editor and generate new content for the Age of Booty community have a great time sharing their maps with friends. As a result, we had a little more work to do.
The game is now slated to hit PSN in mid November for both North America and Europe. While being delayed always sucks, at least the downloadable title will have trophies ... “within the first couple of months” of release. Awesome.

I hope they're adding Trophy support.
Monster Hunter 3 and DMC4 would have been nice feathers in Sony's PS3 cap, but one jumped ship and one when multiplat (not too annoyed by an exclusive going multiplat), but that wasn't too bad.
Then, Lost Planet gets gimped in the PS3 port, and a "port" of Dead rising goes to the wii of all things.
And now we have to wait a month for a downloadable game to be smoothed out.
I mean Jesus Christ Capcom, you should know the hardware by now...
