...Wait...what?
Why would you buy the Wii version if you had a choice? The Wii version doesn't have any online play and the guitar requiring a Wii remote is lame.
And I knowthat this is no excuse and that it should have been right the first time..bla bla bla.
wii version has online
Darkness, death, despair, Hot Topic.....
Wii version does have online. I bought the Wii version for two reason:
1. The girlfriend. I leave my Wii at her place and she wanted to play GH3 so I bought her that version. Yes I could have left my 360 or PS3 over but fuck that.
2. The achievements in the 360 version are horrible. Yes I'm one of those dudes who uses achievements as a point when buying a cross-platform game.
Where else could I drunkly shoot women in Bikinis with Dolphin squirt guns?
Nowhere else. I think the we clearly a winner for this generation of consoles.
Also, Cowzilla is correct--Wii wins the console war based on dolphin squirtguns, bikini-clad women, and gay cowboys alone.
Anyway, I've got slimes to slash. Back to Dragon Quest Swords.
I agree it almost feel like a chore when you have to decide what Wii game to play. I only play No More Heroes, Ghost squad and RE:UC. OTher than that nothing stands out to me.
No seriously now, the Wii just offers a different type of gaming, if you like it (like me) you'll love your Wii, if you don't like it, there are other consoles to still your gaming needs.
Who really wants to play GH3 with the ultracompetive freaks you find in open server or MMORPG type environments?
Sort of a tangent...and of course, voice chat or lack of it is an issue (although actually, I don't know if it's a major one).
I totally agree with you. The only reason I have it still is because I refuse to sell any of my gaming merch ever again. Plus like I said, the girl loves it. (no wii jokes please)
You've grown some nice tits since I saw you last!
*By "their" i mean Harmonix.
Guitar Hero 3 was made for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Case closed.
DLC
It was promised for Q1 of '08 and I'm still waiting.
Fixed.
Also, to say the wii doesn't have awesome games is to admit ignorance. Mario galaxy anyone? Also, zack & wiki, no more heroes, metroid prime 3, twilight princess, and despite the protestations of the "hardcore", many of those much maligned casual games are actually pretty shitting good.
You better quiet down there, or suddenly you'll start making sense to people.
