I sorta get a kick out of the SUPER dry tone employed by these guys when talking about games. It's very clear that they have never played, and have absolutely no desire to play games. There's nothing wrong with that (hell, it's probably what made them as successful as they are) but it's just humours and a little jarring to hear people talk about beloved game franchises with millions of fans in the same manner an investor would talk about diverse incorporated blue-chip hedge funds and convertible financial instruments which can be collated into portfolio bonds which can be divested in key market areas collecting returns on all manner of stock-shared consumable price fluctuating index basis points. Ah investorese, will you ever stop confusing the hell out of the rest of humanity? </p>

I would support them more if they listen to the community concerning online play with the Call of Duty franchise. I did enjoy MW2 online but man there is still issues many people seem to have with it and it falls on deaf ears. They would rather shove more maps at you than balance their game. If that happens again this time I'm trading it in so my local gaming store can sell it used.</p>

They really should put out Call of Duty out into a subscription. You pay for an annual subscription and get 4 call of duties a year. It does not matter what the story is. Every three months, there will be a new theme for a Call of Duty that plays exactly like the other three cods. </p>

im just tired of the "realistic" shooters, havnt played COD since 4. and dont care for the others. and yes, they are all the same. but can be fun sometimes. but it all blurs togehter and just gets stale.</p>

now if timesplitters 4 comes out(please please please) i will play that non stop. i still play my TS2 and FP , but i havnt gone back to COD4 since 2 months after i got it.</p>

or another rainbow six game. i loved that series.</p>

And so Activision ruins another franchise by milking it for all it's worth. Can't say I'll blame yer average joe whose less into gaming than us for buying them and giving activision a reason for this milking.

You people conflating COD players to lesser gamers are so pitiful and self-righteous. I would feel sorry for you if I could manage it.
To make money from CoD all year they should make it so you can buy CoD points. I personaly would not buy it but im sure people would, just like people bought the kit shortcuts for BC2. Im fine with it because some people may not have the time to earn the points for the gun they want or whatever but would be willing to shell out 5 dollars for x amount of points. As long as you can earn it through normal play im ok with them making it so you can buy what is best described as short-cuts to unlockable items
