Activision and Fox announced today the impending arrival of a new Family Guy game. Inspired by the season 8 premiere episode, "Road to the Multiverse," Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse is currently in development for unspecified consoles. Also unspecified is any kind of release date, whether it will be a retail or downloadable title or even any details on play.
What we do know is that the game will, "utilize the source material, including the talented voice cast and writers, authentic humor and subversive spirit of the series, giving fans a whole new way to interact with their favorite show.” So, there's that.
Eh. It's not The Cleveland Show, but Family Guy has seemed a little bit better this season. Maybe there's hope.
