I've heard some pretty cool stuff about the 'new' Tony Hawk game, but no one is willing to confirm anything yet. One thing's for sure: Activision definitely has something up their sleeves, and they have no issue with teasing us.
Activision president Mike Griffith dropped a good teaser in a recent financial conference call: "We are also planning to release our reinvention of Tony Hawk with a very innovative and interactive game that lets consumers experience the thrill of skateboarding like never before."
Like never before? Like, a new skateboard controller? That's the buzz. Or are we totally off? Will it star Michael J. Fox and his silly Back to the Future hoverboard?
"Our goal from the start was to reinvent this franchise back to its roots where we engaged a broad, mass market consumer, and we feel good about what this game can do," said Griffith. "We will also unveil specifics at E3."
What else would classify as a "reinvention" really? I hope it has nothing to do with the Wii Fit Balance Board. Any ideas?

Hoverboards don't work on water!
Unless you got POWER!
All I can think they can do now is put a/that Hoverboard in people's home, and that's how they control a normal skateboard in game. Makes sense if you think about it, trust me....
